Description

Tova holds the ropes for the salvage divers on Thalassa, and for eight months the ropes have been coming up cut. Clearing the shallows is only the first half of the job - it is not what took her divers.

Part One - The Shallows

Kill 40 Tidal Wyrms in the temple water. Wyrms never go deep, so this half is fought on a full lung and is the safest work on the floor.

Part Two - The Ruin Floor

Kill 60 Massive Water Spirits and the Primordial Ooze. Massive Water Spirits exist only at the very bottom of the flooded ruin - there is no shallow-water version of this half, and no way to do it without managing your breath. Both objectives run at once and either can be finished first.

Location

Floor 6 - Thalassa. Tova waits on the surface. The wyrms are in the water around the temples; the spirits and the ooze are at the bottom of the ruin.

No level requirement. Available to all players.

Tips

A full breath gauge is about fifty seconds. Find the air pockets in the ruin before you need them - a fight at the bottom will outlast one lungful, and drowning costs 35% of your maximum health every four seconds.

One Level - Granted on completion
Slower Breath Loss - Permanent, for this character. Breath drains 15% per tick instead of 20%, taking a full gauge from about fifty seconds to about seventy. It applies everywhere underwater, not only on Thalassa.
