Description

Halloran came off a ship and has not been able to stand since. He is sitting against the rocks with something out there circling him, and he cannot reach open water.

He will ask you for help. He will also tell you, before you ask, that there is a purse on his belt and that he could not stop you taking it.

A Choice You Cannot Undo

Help him
Thin out the depth warriors around him - a hundred of them - so he can crawl to a boat. He pays out of what he had put by.

Take the purse
He will not stop you. That does not mean nobody will.

Both paths pay exactly the same. The only things that differ are the title you carry afterwards and which of them you would rather have been.

Location

Floor 8 - Navalis, sitting where the ship put him down.

Access Requirements

No level requirement, though Navalis is deep in the tower. Entirely optional.

Rewards

Sailing Currency - the same amount either way; spend it on your ship
A Title - Salt-Sworn if you helped him, The Wrecker if you did not
