Description

Scrap is a special currency obtained by dismantling unwanted equipment. This resource-recycling system allows adventurers to convert old gear into a currency that can purchase randomized equipment boxes from the Tinkerer.

How to Obtain

Right-click eligible equipment in your inventory and select 'Scrap' to dismantle it. Common items give 1 Scrap, Rare items give 3 Scrap, Epic items give 6 Scrap, and Legendary items give 1 Divine Scrap. Epic, Legendary and upgraded gear ask for confirmation before they are dismantled, and none of the three is ever auto-scrapped. Elite, legendary and cursed monsters also pay Scrap when they die.

Uses

Purchase randomized equipment boxes from the Tinkerer located on Floor 0 (Threshold) on the second floor of the depot, and Floor 5 (Haven) north of the depot. He also sells cosmetics and the Prism of Ascension, which raises a unique item to your own level. Your vocation's conjure-rune spells spend Scrap as well.
